Personal Data Protection Notice
The United Pharmacies of Cyprus Ltd (Reg. No. HE 241065), Anatolikou Industrial Area, 8501, Paphos, Cyprus, as organiser of the competition and Data Controller, undertakes to protect the personal data of entrants in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the applicable legislation.
Concerning your competition entry, we only collect necessary information such as your name-surname, phone number, email address as well as details of the purchase/receipt, including the pharmacy, the number and date of the receipt and a photograph/copy thereof.
That data is used exclusively to:
- register and verify your entry,
- run the draw,
- communicate with winners and hand over the prizes,
- fulfil any relevant legal obligations.
Any personal data needed for you to take part in and for us to run the Competition is processed for the purpose of implementing the Competition’s Terms and Conditions and, where applicable, to ensure that the Organiser complies with its legal obligations. You need to provide the required information to take part. If you do not provide it, you will not be able to enter the Competition.
Your personal data will be used only to run, manage and complete this competition, as described above. Your data will not be shared or transferred to other pharmacies or any third party for their own purposes. Your data will also not be used by the Organiser, KEDIFAP LTD, or any other recipient for direct marketing, advertising, promotional materials or other commercial communications, unless you, as an entrant, has chosen to give consent for this.
KEDIFAP LTD, which has undertaken the technical and administrative management of the Competition on behalf of the Organiser, may process the personal data of entrants exclusively for the purpose of running and managing the Competition and in accordance with the Organiser's instructions. By way of exception, the data may also be disclosed to service providers acting on behalf of the Organiser, only insofar as that this is necessary for the running and managing the Competition or the handing over of prizes, and to the competent public or supervisory authorities, where disclosure is required by the applicable legislation.
Data Retention & Security
Data shall be held securely only for such time as is required to complete the Competition and discharge any relevant legal obligations or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Only authorised persons and associates have access to such data where that is necessary for the purposes of running the Competition.
Your rights
You have the rights specified in the GDPR, including the rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to the processing of your data, where applicable, and the right to data portability, where applicable. You are also entitled to submit a complaint to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.
